Diablos Del Terror (1959 / R63) German A0 Poster #New

The Germans saved their A0 sized posters - larger than a UK Quad at 33 x 46 inches - for their most spectacular artwork. And Krebe's depiction of the galloping masked riders is certainly spectacular. This Mexican horror western has the townsfolk killed off by a ruthless band of hooded vigilantes - anyone who tries to discover the truth is murdered. It's up to heroic agent Gastón and his comedy sidekick Coyote Loco to solve the puzzle.

Directed by Fernando Méndez, who made the horror/western El Grito de la Muerte (1959) also starring Gastón and Loco. Lush colour photography from Víctor Herrera, whose gothic 50s films include 1957's The Body Snatcher (Ladrón de cadáveres), The Vampire's Coffin (1957) and The Black Pit of Dr. M (1959).
