Death Ship, from a story by Jack Hill – Spider Baby (1967), The Big Doll House (1971) is a Nazi Flying Dutchman, a torture ship roaming the seas in an endless search for more victims. After it rams and sinks a cruise ship, the few survivors clamber aboard, where possession and death awaits.

Director Canadian Alvin Rakoff – Crossplot (1967), a long-time UK resident and TV director resorts to stock footage from The Last Voyage (1960) for the sea collision, and had to contend with a defective ghost ship, which only managed to move for an hour’s worth of filming before it’s engines seized. It was the final film for Sally Ann Howes - from Dead of Night (1945) to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968), and Saul Rubinek’s debut.
