Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974 - R78) German A1 Poster #New

First German release poster for Tobe Hooper's infamous classic, mostly shot on 16mm on a fine grain low speed film, which necessitated four times as much light as usual. With all the carcasses, animal product set dressing and average temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, the filming experience was as gruelling as the finished film.

Supposedly, a visiting German journalist stole this gag shot made for the crew's own amusement, where it later turned up to be used on this very poster. TCSM legend...
