Doomsday (2008) UK Quad Poster #New

Neil Marshall's mash-up of the Mad Max films, Aliens and Escape from New York (a couple of characters are named Miller and Carpenter) is riotous fun, while not making a lick of sense. A plague necessitates the cordoning off of Scotland (although most was shot in South Africa), but when survivors are discovered, a team goes in to find the cure. Instead, they find cannibals, medieval fiefdoms and fast cars. 

Condition: GOOD / VERY GOOD
