Amazing Mr Blunden (1972) UK Quad Poster #New

Rightly regarded as a gem of the British ghost story, Mr Blunden was expertly written and directed by actor Lionel Jeffries, whose The Railway Children had come out in 1970 (Lynne Frederick here, wears one of Jenny Agutter's coats from that film). He elicited pitch-perfect performance from his young cast, and adapted Antonia Barber's book sensitively for the screen, giving all the performers a well-defined character to play. 

Condition: VERY GOOD / FINE

Artist: Maciek Piotrowski - his rare palette-knife technique is beautifully displayed here, other notable similar works include his individual character portraits for Doctor Zhivago.
