2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) Oversize US Lobby Card

Stanely Kubrick maintained total control over the exploitation of his films, and the look of 2001's advertising material was even more important than usual, in that he'd created an entirely new look to the universe as we knew it. Indeed, it would not be until 14 months after its premiere that Man actually walked on the moon.

These oversized Lobby stills, 16 x 20 inches (including white border) were supplied only to the first run original release of 2001: A Space Odyssey, where it was presented in 70mm Cinerama with six-track sound. So successful was the experience, It played continually for more than a year in several venues.

Condition: GOOD / VERY GOOD - crimping and edge dinks to both sides
