Hercules Against the Sons of the Sun (1964) UK Quad Poster

Director Osvaldo Civirani's feature (and peplum) debut, a former stills photographer ultimately more at home with the spaghetti western, although he did return to fantasy with 1975's confused Voodoo Sexy with Karin Schubert. The action for the Sons of the Sun is moved to Peru, where Hercules is rescued by a Prince, and repays him by rescuing the Prince's sister from being sacrificed to the Sun God.
