Horse Without a Head (1963) UK Quad Poster

As two 1963 Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color TV episodes combined and released theatrically in Europe, this adaptation of Paul Berna's best known children's classic was directed by Don Chaffey, immediately before he helmed Jason and the Argonauts (1963). A group of children thwart some robbers plans when vital keys are hidden in the wooden toy horse they wheel around.

Herbert Lom is perfect in another comedy gangster role, and the children perform in that non-actorly way that Disney seemed to perfect in the 60s. Note that Pamela Franklin's name is incorrectly spelled.

Condition: GOOD / VERY GOOD - edge dinks and creases. Mark in top border centre.
