Killer's Moon (1978) UK Quad Poster #New
A kind of sleazy forerunner to Jack Sholder's Alone in the Dark (1982), wherein four mental patients in droog costumes believe their dreams are reality, allowing them action without consequence. When they escape from their asylum, they target a busload of stranded schoolgirls. Director Alan Birkinshaw was feminist writer Fay Weldon's brother - astonishingly she collaborated on the script with him, providing most of the dialogue. "In the original script, the girls were ciphers. I gave them characters, which had the unfortunate effect of turning the film into a cult movie. I should have left it as it was. Picture dialogue: A. Picture movie: D. A terrible mix."
Condition: VERY GOOD / FINE - Centre vertical overfolded, usual ink cracking along folds on semi-golssy paper, minot edge dinks bottom and right edges.
