Ten Fingers of Steel (1972) UK Quad Poster #New
Prior to the arrival of Bruce Lee, Jimmy Wang Yu was the biggest martial arts star in Asia, after his break-through role as the One-Armed Swordsman (1967). The Chinese Boxer (1970) started the craze for the unarmed combat kung fu film, and made him so famous it prompted Wang Yu to break his contract with the Shaw Brothers Studio. Although he won the lawsuit, Yu was forbidden to make films in Hong Kong, and most of his films thereafter were made in Taiwan under the Golden Harvest banner.
